 Don't focus on the results (win or lose).
 
 Do focus on what you can have an effect on - (teaching soccer basics)
 
 Do Make Practice Fun (not punishment).
 
 Do Plan a 'Theme' for Each Practice (in advance).
 
 Don't Spend a Lot of Time Talking (too boring).
 
 Do Try to Emphasize Correct Techniques (demonstrate, or get an assistant who can).

 Do Maximize Each Player's Ball Time (lots of touches make for enjoyment and better development).
 
 Don't run a lot of laps for conditioning (get conditioning from ball work and small sided games i.e. 3v3, 4v4, 5v5plus2, etc).
 
 Do exercise with the ball (the more touches the better).
 
 Do Drills in Groups of 3-4 Players (small sided drills and games give players more touches - when they are busy with the ball there is  less opportunity for them to lose focus or worse yet - cause trouble).
 
 Don't Spend a Lot of Time in Lines (long lines are boring - short lines are ok).
 
 Do Praise Publicly and (Constructively) Criticize Privately.
